No, this is not about basic abortion (which is murder). This is about far more heinous things, which Barack Obama fully endorses. Obama supporters, take a look at what you’re agreeing to support:

Barack Obama would repeal the Hyde Amendment, which protects pro-life citizens from having to pay for abortions. The abortion industry laments that this longstanding federal law, according to the pro-abortion group NARAL, ”forces about half the women who would otherwise have abortions to carry unintended pregnancies to term and bear children against their wishes instead.” In other words, a whole lot of people who are alive today would have been exterminated in utero were it not for the Hyde Amendment. Obama has promised to reverse the situation so that abortions that the industry complains are not happening (because the federal government is not subsidizing them) would happen.

Sick, no? Well, it gets worse.

He has promised that ”the first thing I’d do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act” (known as FOCA). This proposed legislation would create a federally guaranteed ”fundamental right” to abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, including, as Cardinal Justin Rigali of Philadelphia has noted in a statement condemning the proposed Act, ”a right to abort a fully developed child in the final weeks

Killing fully developed children all the way through nine months of pregnancy? You may be thinking that it cannot get any worse. Well, you could think that, but you’d be wrong.

In essence, FOCA would abolish virtually every existing state and federal limitation on abortion, including parental consent and notification laws for minors, state and federal funding restrictions on abortion, and conscience protections for pro-life citizens working in the health-care industry-protections against being forced to participate in the practice of abortion or else lose their jobs.

Forcing pro-life medical personnel to participate in abortion procedures or face the punishment of being fired. You have to help us kill children, or we won’t pay you. But ol’ Barry doesn’t stop there.

Obama, unlike even many ”pro-choice” legislators, opposed the ban on partial-birth abortions when he served in the Illinois legislature and condemned the Supreme Court decision that upheld legislation banning this heinous practice.

For those who don’t know, let me describe the procedure. The pull the living fetus part of the way out of its mother, cut a hole in its head, vacuum out the brain, and drop the body in a bucket. Anyone feel like vomiting yet?

Obama opposed legislation to protect children who are born alive, either as a result of an abortionist’s unsuccessful effort to kill them in the womb, or by the deliberate delivery of the baby prior to viability.

And how would these living children be killed? By starvation and neglect. Read on…

Obama has co-sponsored a bill that would authorize the large-scale industrial production of human embryos for use in biomedical research in which they would be killed. In fact, the bill Obama co-sponsored would effectively require the killing of human beings in the embryonic stage that were produced by cloning. It would make it a federal crime for a woman to save an embryo by agreeing to have the tiny developing human being implanted in her womb so that he or she could be brought to term.

So now it is not only okay to kill children, but it is a felony for women to try to save them.

Decent people of every persuasion hold out the increasingly realistic hope of resolving the moral issue surrounding embryonic stem-cell research by developing methods to produce the exact equivalent of embryonic stem cells without using (or producing) embryos. But when a bill was introduced in the United States Senate to put a modest amount of federal money into research to develop these methods, Barack Obama was one of the few senators who opposed it. From any rational vantage point, this is unconscionable. Why would someone not wish to find a method of producing the pluripotent cells scientists want that all Americans could enthusiastically endorse? Why create and kill human embryos when there are alternatives that do not require the taking of nascent human lives? It is as if Obama is opposed to stem-cell research unless it involves killing human embryos.

Well, there you have it. If it involves killing babies, you can bet that Obama is in favor of it. He wants to make it legal to kill children at ANY point during the pregnancy. He want to make it legal to kill children that survive abortions. He wants to make it legal to have a partial-birth abortion. He wants to fire people who refuse to take part in abortions. He is only in favor of stem-cell research which involves killing human embryos.

  1. 9 months is pretty crazy, but it isn’t a bad idea. If people can’t afford to pay for abortions and need them, this being added should help. As much as I know you’re against abortion the fact is there are other people in the wolrd who do. Obama is keeping everyone in mind remember, so it is only necessary he makes these kind of moves. Besides, you gotta’ stop nit-picking the guy like this, it just looks desperate and lame.

  2. Oh Jesus it’s not here already?

Please try to keep political bias out of this, we don’t need to scare people away.

That’s idiotic. Under no circumstances is it a “good idea” to kill a fully developed child. That you would even think that sickens me. Did you read that entire article? Nothing in it is even remotely justifiable. We’re not talking about basic abortion here, we’re talking about partial birth abortion, killing infants who are born alive, and killing fully developed yet unborn babies.

    @Deadly
There is no political bias here. This is a factual description of his voting record.

  5. Very funny, but please just post this in one of the many political topics at the board, not here please.

  7. Absolutely disgusting. I don’t care what people have to say about first-trimester abortions but this is just completely wrong.

  8. @Fami: Of course I disagree with that like the 9 months point but what I find idiotic is your stubborn nature to make Obama seem deceptive and evil. Like I said before, McCain has done just as many things I’d frown upon.

  9. Nothing remotely comparable to killing live children. Sorry.
